About the course   WSET Level 2 in Wine is an internationally recognised qualification designed for students who already have a basic understanding of wine. It is suitable for wine-interested consumers who wish to broaden their knowledge and make more confident wine choices, as well as for those considering or working in the wine trade.   At Oslo Wine School, teaching focuses on clear explanations, discussion, and guided practice in a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our goal is to build confidence and practical tasting skills, helping students feel comfortable talking about wine and choosing wines for a wide range of occasions. Small class sizes ensure personalised attention and meaningful interaction. What you will learn   WSET Level 2 in Wine focuses on understanding the world’s principal and regionally important grape varieties, the regions where they are grown, and the styles of wine produced. Tastings are structured and guided , and are used as a learning tool to support discussion and understanding. Exam and certification The course includes a 60-minute multiple-choice exam . Course participants may register for the exam, which is usually held 2–6 weeks after the course . On successful completion, students receive the WSET Level 2 in Wine certificate and pin . Available exam dates on request. After enrolment, students will receive an email inviting them to register for the exam. WSET Level 2 in Wine classroom course with Oslo Wine School

  • 18 - 20 hours of WSET-accredited wine education with one of our Oslo Wine School WSET wine educators.

  • This course is approved by WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) i London and is internationally approved in more than 80 countries.

WSET Level 2 in Wine Exam

Following the course students are invited to register for the WSET Level 2 in Wine exam, which is a multiple-choice exam of 50 questions to be answered in one hour.  No tasting skills are required to pass level 2 in Wine.  Students can choose between taking the exam online digitally, or in the classroom in Oslo.  After successful completion will receive an internationally approved Wine & Spirit Education certificate and pin.  We offer various exam dates both as a classroom exam and digital.  Please ask for more information after enrollment.
